![]() ![]() Marshfield Clinic Health System is an integrated health system whose mission is to enrich lives through accessible, affordable compassionate health care. The addition of primary, specialty care and emergency care helps meet that need, and means that our Medford patients and residents won’t have to travel as far to receive their care at Marshfield Clinic. The patients we serve who reside in Medford and surrounding communities have expressed their need for local Marshfield Clinic services. Residents should have easy access to health care services delivered in a timely manner where they choose to receive it. The new medical facility will include a multi-specialty medical group, licensed hospital beds, emergency department, and lab and imaging services. Marshfield Clinic has served residents of Taylor County for more than 100 years and our patients have consistently requested that we provide more services locally. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2022 following city approval, and open for patients in 2023. The Health System also plans to plans to expand its services in Medford with plans to build a new medical facility that will bring primary and specialty physician, emergency medicine and hospital services to the Medford community. Patients will also have expanded telehealth access to the Health System’s Marshfield hospitalists and specialists. The expanded Wisconsin Rapids campus will include inpatient beds, emergency department and expanded radiological services, such as CT. Construction is planned for 2022, with anticipation to begin seeing patients in 2023. The new Wisconsin Rapids facility will be adjacent to the existing Marshfield Clinic Wisconsin Rapids Center, 220 24 th Street South. The Health System’s River Region takes its name from the Wisconsin River and applies to both the Stevens Point campus and a planned hospital facility in Wisconsin Rapids.
